- Answering incoming 111 emergency and non-emergency calls promptly and professionally
- Gathering accurate information from callers in high-stress, fast-paced situations
- Assessing situations quickly to determine the appropriate police or emergency service response
- Entering critical data into computer-aided dispatch systems accurately and efficiently
- Providing ongoing safety advice and reassurance to callers until help arrives
- Collaborating effectively with dispatchers, frontline staff, partner agencies, iwi, and local communities
