Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care before electrophysiology procedures.
- Monitoring patient vitals and clinical status closely during the pre-operative phase.
- Collaborating effectively with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and support staff to ensure safe and efficient patient flow.
- Educating patients and their families regarding pre-procedure expectations, instructions, and post-care guidance.
- Maintaining accurate and timely electronic health records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Adhering strictly to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and professional nursing standards.
