This is a full-time, non-management opportunity located in the vibrant Naples and Marco Island area of Collier County, Florida. The position offers an annual salary of $71,752.
In this dynamic role within our Food and Beverage and Culinary department, you will serve as the crucial first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. You will be responsible for welcoming guests warmly, managing guest flow, and ensuring that seating arrangements are handled efficiently and professionally.
Key responsibilities for the Host or Hostess include:
- Greeting arriving guests promptly and determining the exact number of people in their party.
- Locating clean and available tables, pulling out chairs, and presenting clean, current menus to each guest.
- Guiding guests smoothly through the dining rooms and accommodating any immediate needs or special requests.
- Collaborating closely with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to maintain accurate wait times and efficient table turnover.
- Monitoring the overall appearance and cleanliness of the reception and dining areas to uphold Marriott’s high standards of hospitality.
