In this role, you will provide comprehensive anesthesia care within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The facility operates as a Level II facility functioning at Level I trauma center capacity and supports a large tertiary surgical program. Responsibilities include managing day shifts, participating in inpatient call assignments, and fulfilling OR call requirements as part of the clinical schedule. The facility also supports Obstetric coverage and dedicated Cardiovascular call support.
Key responsibilities and expectations for the position include:
- Delivering safe and effective anesthesia services for various surgical and medical procedures
- Participating in day shift clinical operations and inpatient call duties
- Collaborating closely with surgeons, nurses, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals
- Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to facility safety and clinical standards
Qualifications and requirements for applicants:
- Medical Doctor (MD) or equivalent degree
- Valid license to practice medicine in the state of Texas
- Board certification is negotiable for this position
- Ability to commit to the start date of November 1, 2026, and fulfill the designated locum duration
