CompHealth is currently seeking a qualified Locum Tenens Neonatologist for an exciting opportunity located in Compton, Los Angeles County, California. This position offers a dedicated compensation rate of $102,827 per year for the right medical professional ready to step into a dynamic hospital environment.
In this role, you will be working within a Level III NICU hospital setting, utilizing your specialized procedural skills to provide exceptional care to vulnerable patients. The practice environment features an average daily census (ADC) of approximately 17 to 20 patients. Coverage options include 24-hour in-house coverage, as well as day shifts running from 8 am to 5 pm.
Key responsibilities and expectations for this assignment include:
- Providing expert neonatology care within a Level III NICU setting
- Managing patient care for an average daily census of 17 to 20 patients
- Performing necessary Level III NICU procedures with precision and care
- Participating in either day shifts (8 am – 5 pm) or 24-hour in-house coverage as required
- Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary hospital staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
