CompHealth is currently seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for an exciting locum tenens opportunity located in Briggs, Los Angeles County, California. In this role, you will be supporting an outpatient surgery center featuring four operating rooms, focusing entirely on clinic-based responsibilities with no C-sections required. The schedule is designed to offer a consistent and predictable routine, operating Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. You will work standard 8-hour shifts with a guarantee of 8 hours per day, managing an average of 8 patients per shift.
Key responsibilities and expectations for this assignment include:
- Providing comprehensive anesthesia care for patients undergoing outpatient surgical procedures
- Evaluating patients prior to procedures and monitoring vital signs throughout interventions
- Collaborating effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other clinical staff within the ambulatory surgery center
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation for all patient encounters
- Adhering strictly to facility protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
