Michael Page is currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager for a full-time opportunity based in the Pinkenba and Brisbane area. We are partnering with a well-established, national organisation within the logistics and services sector to find a dedicated professional for this values-led business.
This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing a high-performing accounts payable function supporting a complex, fast-moving operation. The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in managing daily transactional processes, ensuring accuracy, and driving efficiency within the finance team.
Key responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Manager include:
- Leading, mentoring, and coaching the accounts payable team to foster a high-performance culture
- Managing the end-to-end accounts payable process and ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing
- Overseeing payment runs, reconciliations, and resolving complex vendor queries
- Collaborating with internal departments and external suppliers to streamline workflows
- Continuously improving accounts payable procedures, internal controls, and system utilisation
To be successful in this role, you will bring demonstrated experience in managing accounts payable functions within busy, structured environments. Strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in relevant financial systems and software are essential for thriving in this fast-paced setting.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary package between A$110,000 and A$125,000 per year, reflecting the importance of the role within the business.
