Advanced Practice Provider (APP) – Rheumatology

We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Rheumatology to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care in an outpatient clinic setting. Expected hours for this role are Monday through Thursday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history-taking, physical exams, and interpretation of diagnostic tests and lab results.
• Diagnose, manage, and treat chronic autoimmune and musculoskeletal conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoarthritis, and gout.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and prescribe medications in accordance with evidence-based guidelines.
• Perform joint injections, aspirations, and related clinical procedures as appropriate.
• Provide clear education and guidance to empower patients in managing their symptoms and treatment choices.
• Collaborate closely with rheumatologists, nurses, and the broader multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Current, unrestricted licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of practice.
• Board certification by a recognized national body, such as the ANCC or NCCPA.
• Demonstrated knowledge of rheumatologic diseases, pathophysiology, and treatment options.
• Experience performing joint injections and aspirations.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The expected compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $109,500 to $164,000, determined by factors such as local labor markets, education, and work experience, with potential increases based on productivity and performance.
