Merrill Wealth Management is seeking a bilingual Spanish-speaking candidate for the Advisor Development Program – Financial Solutions Advisor Trainee position at the Sahara Nellis Banking Center, located in Las Vegas, NV. In this 40-hour-per-week, first-shift role, you will begin your journey by obtaining essential Securities Industry licenses, with dedicated study time provided for your Securities Industry Essentials [SIE], Series 7, and Series 66 Exams.
Once you achieve your licensing milestones, you will learn foundational skills to help clients pursue their life goals through comprehensive wealth management, banking convenience, and investment guidance. You will train to build client relationships, understand complex financial needs, and eventually transition to a financial center to deliver Bank of America’s core banking and investment solutions. Successful progression within the program offers opportunities to advance toward becoming a Merrill Financial Advisor.
Key responsibilities and daily expectations for this role include:
- Studying for and successfully obtaining required Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, and Series 66).
- Communicating effectively and building strong, trusting relationships with clients in a sales-oriented environment.
- Applying a proactive mindset, effective time management, and strong multitasking abilities to daily activities.
- Identifying appropriate client solutions, exercising regulatory due diligence, and prioritizing client interests.
- Complying with SAFE Act registration and background check requirements for mortgage originations.
Applicants must be bilingual in Spanish and demonstrate confidence working in a sales and client-focused role. While a bachelor’s degree and/or prior financial services or sales experience are preferred, candidates who can learn and adapt to new technologies and excel in communication are encouraged to apply.
This position offers an hourly pay range of $28.85 to $33.65, with final offers determined based on relevant experience, education, and skill set. This role is compensated with a base salary, is not incentive-eligible, and is currently benefits-eligible, providing access to paid time off and industry-standard resources and support.
