Samex Peterborough Pty Ltd is currently seeking a skilled Air-condition and Refrigeration Mechanic to join their team on a full-time basis in the Peterborough area. The successful applicant will be offered a competitive salary ranging from A$78,000 to A$85,000 per year.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in keeping plant operations running smoothly by providing expert technical support, conducting routine servicing, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently. You will work closely with existing maintenance teams to uphold high industry standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing insulation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of industrial refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.
- Working directly with specialised Ammonia Refrigeration equipment.
- Supporting and executing the facility’s preventative maintenance program.
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing associated climate control and refrigeration equipment.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical manuals, and project specifications.
To be successful in this position, you should demonstrate a strong technical background in mechanical trades, specifically within industrial settings. Your ability to interpret complex technical documents and safely handle industrial refrigerants will be essential to your daily tasks. You will also need to be a reliable team player who is dedicated to maintaining high standards of workplace safety and equipment reliability.
