The Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) is seeking a dedicated and professional Assessments Advisor to join our team in the Melbourne CBD. In this mid-level role, you will become part of an organization where fairness drives every decision, helping us deliver world-class, independent complaints resolution services for Australians.
As an Assessments Advisor, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve reviewing and assessing complaints, communicating effectively with various stakeholders, and applying established guidelines and procedures to help reach fair and equitable outcomes. You will play an important part in our not-for-profit and progressive financial organisation, ensuring that cases are handled efficiently and in alignment with AFCA’s high standards.
We are looking for candidates who bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills to the position. Ideal applicants will possess:
- Demonstrated experience in a customer service, administrative, analytical, or complaints-handling environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly
- A high level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills
