This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday through Friday on a days-based schedule, though some flexibility may be required to meet operational needs. The position offers a salary of £52,804 per year.
As an Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our production capabilities. Your core responsibilities and focus areas will include:
- Supporting and improving our site automation systems to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability
- Leading various automation-focused projects from conception through to completion
- Troubleshooting technical issues, diagnosing faults, and implementing effective corrective actions
- Collaborating with cross-functional engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes
- Ensuring adherence to relevant safety, quality, and industry standards across all automated machinery
