As a production assistant, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve a variety of tasks essential to the preparation and packaging of quality goods. You will play a key role in ensuring that products are handled safely and efficiently from the initial receiving stage through to final packaging.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Handling, preparing, and packaging products according to established standards.
- Receiving fish deliveries, which includes cleaning, filleting, and cutting.
- Labeling and packing finished products for distribution.
- Operating and maintaining a safe and clean workspace.
To be considered for this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Previous experience in similar production roles or specifically within fish handling and seafood processing.
- Strong teamwork skills and effective communication abilities.
- Familiarity with food processing machinery will be positively valued.
