The Friar’s Cafe is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista to join our friendly team on a full-time, permanent basis in Kialla, Shepparton. We are looking for someone who is truly passionate about coffee, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering excellent service to every guest who walks through our doors.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee and a variety of other beverages to our valued customers. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere, greeting patrons warmly, and ensuring that each order is crafted to the highest standard. Working closely with the rest of the café team, you will also help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient front-of-house workspace throughout your shift.
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualities and skills:
- Proven experience working as a barista in a busy café or hospitality environment
- A strong passion for specialty coffee and beverage preparation
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- A proactive and friendly team player attitude
