ConsultANZ is currently seeking a skilled Boilermaker/Welder for a part-time opportunity located in the Perth CBD area. In this role, you will be an integral part of our operations, supporting heavy machinery and equipment to ensure ongoing reliability and performance across our projects.
Working within a busy workshop and site-based environment, your primary responsibilities will focus on maintaining, repairing, and fabricating components for heavy civil and piling equipment. This is a hands-on position well-suited for a dedicated professional with a strong background in metal fabrication and heavy plant maintenance.
Key responsibilities for the Boilermaker/Welder include:
- Performing welding, fabrication, and repair work on a variety of heavy civil and piling equipment.
- Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and refurbishment of drill rigs, piling rigs, excavators, cranes, and associated plant machinery.
- Ensuring all fabrication and repair tasks are completed to high safety and quality standards.
- Collaborating effectively with workshop and site teams to troubleshoot equipment issues and minimize downtime.
- Complying with all workplace health and safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
To be successful in this role, you should possess relevant trade qualifications and proven experience as a Boilermaker or Welder, ideally within the heavy civil, construction, or mining equipment sectors. A strong understanding of welding techniques, structural fabrication, and heavy machinery maintenance is essential. You must also demonstrate a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
