Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Radiology, is currently seeking a dedicated Breast Radiologist to join our professional team in Moreno Valley, Riverside County. This position offers a dedicated annual salary of $202,331.
As a Breast Radiologist within our department, you will play a vital role in patient care and clinical excellence. Key responsibilities and professional expectations for this role typically include:
- Performing and interpreting diagnostic breast imaging examinations, including digital mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI.
- Performing image-guided breast intervention procedures such as core biopsies, wire localizations, and aspirations.
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, including surgeons, oncologists, and pathologists, to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Communicating diagnostic results and clinical recommendations clearly and compassionately to patients and referring physicians.
- Participating in educational activities, teaching residents and fellows, and contributing to departmental quality improvement initiatives.
Candidates must possess the appropriate medical degrees, state medical licensure, and board certification or eligibility in radiology, with specialized training or a strong focus in breast imaging.
