CompHealth is currently seeking a qualified Radiologist for an exciting locums telehealth opportunity in California, based out of the Fair Oaks area within Sacramento County. This position offers a dedicated salary of $155,728 per year, providing a fantastic chance to either step into a new remote role or effectively supplement your current income with a reliable schedule.
The standard schedule for this assignment runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. In this telehealth capacity, you will be responsible for handling a steady volume of daily diagnostic interpretations, typically ranging from 65 to 75 total reads per day. The clinical focus centers heavily on abdominal imaging, distributed across specific daily modalities.
Key responsibilities and expected daily workflows include:
- Interpreting approximately 30 to 35 CT scans with an abdominal focus
- Reviewing 15 to 20 ultrasound (US) studies daily
- Completing approximately 20 plain film (PF) reads per day
- Maintaining high standards of diagnostic accuracy while meeting daily volume expectations
- Communicating effectively with referring providers and facility staff via telehealth platforms as needed
