In this junior-level Cashier role, you will play an essential part in creating a welcoming and efficient checkout experience for our customers. You will be responsible for representing the Harvey Norman brand with enthusiasm, ensuring every shopper receives prompt and friendly service from the moment they arrive at the registers until they complete their purchase.
Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Operating cash registers and processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handling various forms of payment, including cash, EFTPOS, and gift cards
- Providing exceptional, friendly customer service and addressing customer enquiries at the checkout
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area
- Assisting with general retail duties and front-end support as required by the store team
