As a regional driver for Hill Bros., you can expect to average between 2,200 and 2,800 miles per week across designated regional lanes, with no coast-to-coast driving required. Drivers typically stay out on the road for 6 to 8 days before returning home for a 34- to 48-hour reset, giving you the benefit of reliable weekly home time. For drivers looking to maximize their earnings, opportunities are available to stay out longer and take on additional miles.
Key responsibilities and details for this role include:
- Operating a commercial motor vehicle safely within the designated regional lanes.
- Maintaining compliance with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety standards.
- Achieving expected weekly mileage goals between 2,200 and 2,800 miles.
- Participating in touch-freight or handling freight requirements as outlined for regional routes during the week.
- Completing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment is road-ready.
Qualifications for this position:
- Valid CDL-A license.
