Key responsibilities typically include:
- Safely driving and maneuvering a CDL-A commercial vehicle along assigned routes
- Performing thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Loading, securing, and unloading freight in accordance with safety and company standards
- Maintaining accurate driving logs and paperwork in compliance with regulations
- Communicating professionally with customers, dispatchers, and team members
