Mclane Company, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and reliable professional for a full-time CDL A Truck Driver position based in Glenford, Perry County. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a commercial motor vehicle, transporting freight, and delivering products in a timely and professional manner. Daily duties generally include conducting thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs of driving hours and rest periods in compliance with federal regulations, and ensuring cargo is properly secured for transit. Drivers must also communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure smooth and efficient route execution.
To qualify for this position, applicants must hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License Class A (CDL-A) and meet all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) driver requirements. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong commitment to highway safety, excellent time-management skills, and the ability to work independently while managing daily route schedules.
