Epic Special Education Staffing is currently seeking a dedicated professional for a Certified Occupational Therapist position located in Tongue Point, Clatsop County. This is a part-time opportunity spanning the 2026–2027 school year, with options for either onsite or hybrid work arrangements depending on the needs of the students and the district.
In this role, you will work directly with students to provide essential occupational therapy services, support individualized education programs (IEPs), and collaborate closely with educators, staff, and families to help students succeed. You will assess student needs, develop functional goals, and implement targeted interventions designed to enhance each child’s academic and daily living participation.
Compensation for this role is established at $95,254 per year. Additionally, eligible clinicians and educators who commit to and complete their full school year assignment at 30 hours per week can take advantage of a $2,000 Completion Bonus. You will also have the opportunity to earn up to $3,000 in referral bonuses by connecting other professionals with Epic Special Education Staffing.
Key responsibilities and professional expectations for this role generally include:
- Evaluating students’ fine motor, sensory, and visual-motor skills through standardized testing and clinical observation
- Developing and implementing student-centered IEP goals and treatment plans
- Providing direct therapy services in accordance with student educational plans
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of student progress and session notes
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary school teams to support holistic student development
