We are currently seeking a Casual Cleaner/Housekeeping team member to join our Accommodation Service team at our Moran Stockton home. This role will assist the facility in maintaining the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene to ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.
As part of the housekeeping team, your daily responsibilities will typically include:
- Performing general cleaning duties across resident rooms, common areas, and staff facilities
- Ensuring all areas are sanitised, tidy, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Operating cleaning equipment and handling cleaning chemicals safely and effectively
- Managing waste disposal and linen handling as required
- Interacting respectfully with residents and contributing to a warm, supportive community atmosphere
To be successful in this casual position, you will possess a strong attention to detail, a dedicated work ethic, and a genuine passion for working in an aged care environment. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is highly regarded, alongside a compassionate approach to supporting elderly residents.
