Cleaning Specialist

We are currently hiring for a Cleaning Specialist for a seasonal, full-time position at our camping resort on beautiful Lake Gaston in Littleton, North Carolina. In this role, you will ensure our resort stays clean and tidy to provide our guests with a five-star experience.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning the resort office, clubhouse, bath houses, and public access areas as directed, including mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and removing trash
• Keeping common areas clean and maintained to our established standards
• Tracking cleaning supply inventory and requesting refills as needed
• Reporting any maintenance concerns or repair needs in common areas to the Resort Manager or Maintenance Supervisor
• Assisting the maintenance and other staff members as needed, including helping with clean-up for resort-sponsored guest activities and functions
• Responding to guest inquiries in a timely, professional manner with patience and concern, and solving or reporting guest-related problems with a positive attitude
• Operating a property golf cart as part of daily duties
• Working closely with management to maintain open communication and ensure a coordinated resort team while delivering outstanding customer service

To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or the equivalent
• One to three years of experience in a housekeeping role
• Knowledge of cleaning supplies and products
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• A valid driver’s license, good driving record, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed due to the nature of our business
