Key responsibilities in this position include:
- Assessing patients’ nutritional needs and medical histories upon admission and throughout their stay
- Developing, customizing, and implementing effective dietary plans tailored to individual rehabilitation goals
- Providing comprehensive education and guidance to patients and their families on healthy eating habits and disease management
- Instructing patients on nutritional strategies to support their ongoing recovery and long-term health
- Collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, speech therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting nutrition care plans as necessary based on clinical evaluations
This part-time position features a defined annual compensation of $78,833 per year, structured to reflect the scope and value of the role.
