Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Assessing patients’ nutritional needs and medical histories upon admission and throughout their stay
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized dietary and nutrition care plans
- Providing education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy eating habits and disease management
- Instructing patients on specialized therapeutic diets to support rehabilitation and overall health outcomes
- Documenting clinical assessments, interventions, and patient progress in compliance with facility standards
