- Assessing patients’ individual nutritional needs upon admission and throughout their stay
- Developing and implementing customized dietary plans tailored to specific clinical requirements
- Providing education and guidance on healthy eating habits to patients and, where appropriate, their families
- Instructing patients on modified diets and nutritional strategies to support healing
- Collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Monitoring patient progress and adjusting nutrition care plans as needed
