As a Clinical Dietitian in this role, a Registered Dietitian credential is required. You will play a crucial role in the patient care continuum by evaluating nutritional requirements, designing tailored dietary interventions, and supporting patient recovery through expert clinical guidance.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Assessing patients’ comprehensive nutritional needs upon admission and throughout their rehabilitation stay.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized dietary and nutrition care plans.
- Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Providing clear and practical education and instruction to patients and their families regarding healthy eating habits and therapeutic diets.
- Documenting clinical assessments, nutritional interventions, and patient progress accurately within electronic health records.
- Adapting nutrition plans based on ongoing clinical evaluations and patient response to therapy.
This part-time position offers an annual compensation of $84,554 per year.
