CNA Certified Nursing Assistant (NIGHT SHIFT)

Masonicare Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team for the night shift at our 260-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in Wallingford, CT. This is a 32-hour position working every other weekend, offering a rewarding opportunity to be part of an organization that is a leader in senior care in Connecticut.

As a CNA at Masonicare, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our residents and patients. You will perform basic nursing care procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse, following personalized treatment plans designed to meet the specific age, needs, and abilities of each individual.

Key responsibilities for this role typically include:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Helping patients with meals and nourishment in accordance with their care plans.
• Safely transferring residents using proper body mechanics and appropriate assistive devices, as well as assisting with ambulation.
• Observing and reporting changes in resident conditions to the supervising licensed nurse.
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients and residents.

Minimum requirements for this position:

• Current Connecticut certification as a nurse’s aide (C.N.A.).
• Current CPR certification.
