domestiko.com is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Cocinero/a to join the team for a seasonal position in San Martín de Luiña, Cudillero, Asturias. If you have a passion for culinary arts and professional experience in kitchen environments, this temporary opportunity offers a chance to showcase your skills in a residential care setting.
In this role, you will be responsible for the full range of meal preparation to ensure residents receive nutritious and well-crafted food throughout the day. Your daily duties and operational responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking all daily meals, including breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, and dinner, adhering to dietary standards and resident preferences.
- Monitoring inventory levels and conducting regular stock controls.
- Managing food and supply orders efficiently to maintain adequate kitchen provisions.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements and qualifications:
- Valid food handler certificate (carné de manipulador de alimentos).
- Relevant professional training in cooking, gastronomy, or a related field.
- Previous demonstrable experience working in a kitchen environment.
- Possession of a private vehicle and a valid driver’s license for commuting to the location.
- Availability to start work on July 15, 2026.
