We are currently seeking a Commercial Cost Modeller & Analyst to join the OPD Finance and Commercial team on a full-time basis, located in South Yarra in the Stonnington area. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to our ongoing mission of delivering reliable and efficient public transport solutions through expert financial and commercial analysis.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting commercial operations by developing, maintaining, and refining detailed cost models and financial analyses. Your day-to-day work will directly inform key business decisions, assist with budget tracking, and help evaluate financial risks and opportunities within the team.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Developing and maintaining complex financial and cost models to support commercial projects and decision-making.
- Analysing financial data, variance reports, and cost trends to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align commercial strategies with project objectives.
- Preparing clear and comprehensive reports, presentations, and forecasts for management review.
- Assisting with tender evaluations, contract management, and commercial negotiations as required.
To be successful in this position, you will bring strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modelling, and a collaborative approach to working within a dynamic team environment. A background in finance, commercial analysis, or a related discipline is essential.
