Workpac is currently seeking an experienced Compactor Operator for an exciting opportunity located approximately 20km from Rolleston in Queensland, Australia. You will be joining a leading global client with 25 years of operational experience in Australia, known as the country’s largest producer of essential resources including coal, cobalt, zinc, nickel, and copper.
This role is offered on a competitive pay rate of $62.15 per hour and operates on a 7/7 roster structure, working day shifts only. To support your lifestyle and make travel as seamless as possible, a BIBO (Bus-in, Bus-out) option is available from Bundaberg via Calliope or Yeppoon via Rockhampton.

Key responsibilities for this position typically include:
- Operating compactor machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with site procedures and safety guidelines
- Conducting pre-start and post-start equipment checks to ensure optimal machine performance
- Communicating effectively with team members and site supervisors regarding operational progress and safety hazards
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area around your assigned machinery
- Contributing to a strong safety culture on site by reporting any incidents or near misses promptly
