Wyser is seeking a Controller for a prominent multinational operating in the logistics and transport sector, located in Milano, Provincia di Milano. The role reports to the Controlling Manager and involves responsibility for financial control and analysis within the organization.
- Perform monthly closing of the profit and loss statement, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Analyze the accuracy of results compared with forecasts and budgets, identifying variances and providing insights.
- Monitor cost trends and key performance indicators related to project deliveries, ensuring alignment with operational objectives.
- Prepare ad‑hoc reports for management and stakeholders, supporting decision‑making with clear data presentations.
- Draft the annual budget, contributing to strategic planning and resource allocation across the business unit.
Candidate should possess solid experience in controlling functions, preferably gained within the logistics, transport, or retail environments. Strong analytical abilities, proficiency with financial software, and a detailed understanding of budgeting processes are essential. The ideal profile demonstrates the capacity to work collaboratively with the Controlling Manager, manage multiple priorities, and communicate findings effectively to non‑financial audiences.
In addition to the core tasks, the Controller will assist in the preparation of management information packages, perform periodic reviews of cost structures, and ensure that all financial data conforms to applicable accounting standards.
