Holy Basil Thai is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Cook to join our team on a full-time basis in the Croydon area, Maroondah. We offer a competitive salary package ranging from A$79,000 to A$89,000 per year.
In this role, you will play an essential part in the daily operations of our kitchen, delivering delicious meals and maintaining our high standards. Candidates should preferably have at least 2 to 3 years of experience, ideally working within Asian cuisine. Please note that applicants are encouraged to consider their transport options prior to applying, as the venue is exclusively serviced by local bus routes.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Preparing, cooking, and plating meals to order
- Monitoring food quality, portion control, and overall food presentation
- Checking stock levels and ensuring the proper storage of all ingredients
- Ordering necessary food supplies as required
- Assisting with kitchen clean-down procedures at the end of shifts
- Working flexible evening shifts as part of the regular schedule
