We are currently seeking a dedicated part-time Cook to join our team in Mornington on the Mornington Peninsula. As a Cook at GYG, you will be at the heart of our mission to serve up the best Mexican food experience to both our new and loyal guests.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and creating quality meals following the official GYG recipe guide. Working with fresh ingredients and vibrant Mexican flavors, you will ensure every dish meets our high standards of taste and presentation in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
We are looking for team members who are reliable, enthusiastic, and available to work flexible shifts between the hours of 5:00 AM and midnight during the week.
Key responsibilities typically include:
- Preparing fresh ingredients and cooking menu items according to GYG recipes and standards
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen workspace
- Working collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours
- Complying with all food safety and health regulations
- Assisting with general kitchen duties as required
