Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to join the team as a Crew Member on a casual basis at our Kotara location in the Lake Macquarie area. This junior-level opportunity is ideal for anyone looking to kickstart their career in the fast-paced hospitality and fast-food industry with a vibrant, growing brand.
As part of the Guzman y Gomez crew, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional customer service and preparing our famous, high-quality Mexican food. We are Australia’s only fast-food restaurant to be 100 percent clean, meaning there are no added preservatives, artificial flavours, added colours, or unacceptable additives in our food, and you will take pride in upholding these standards every day.
Daily responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Greeting and serving customers with a friendly, welcoming attitude
- Taking orders accurately and operating the point-of-sale system
- Preparing and assembling food items in accordance with brand recipes and strict food safety standards
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized restaurant environment, including the front-of-house and kitchen areas
- Working collaboratively as part of a high-energy team to ensure fast and efficient service during peak periods
We are looking for candidates who possess a positive attitude, a strong willingness to learn, and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment. Previous customer service or food handling experience is always welcome, but a great work ethic and a passion for people are the most important qualities we look for in our crew members.
