Custodial (Spa) – Part Time, $31.93/Hour

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Spa Custodial Cast Member to join our team at a pay rate of $31.93 per hour. Spa Custodial Cast Members play a vital role in creating a wonderful home-away-from-home experience for each of our guests every day, ensuring our properties meet the highest standards of cleanliness and care.

In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all spa, salon, and fitness properties, covering both on-stage and off-stage locations. Your daily duties will help maintain the pristine condition of our resort and support our overall operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining the cleanliness of front-of-house guest areas, including lobbies, hallways, and public spaces by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, and window cleaning.
• Thoroughly cleaning, drying, and disinfecting guest and cast restroom locations, fixtures, and hard surfaces.
• Cleaning and maintaining back-of-house support areas such as offices, break rooms, locker rooms, and restrooms.
• Performing area wash-downs, rinsing, and drying of exterior resort common walkways and hardscape areas, including the outdoor hydrotherapy area, pool deck, and furniture.
• Executing carpet care utilizing heavy-duty equipment like shampooers and extractors, alongside specialized floor cleaning tools.
• Cleaning and maintaining spa, salon, and fitness lobbies, treatment rooms, locker rooms, and relaxation lounges, including walls, doors, and ceilings.
• Supporting operations by washing small laundry and dishware items, folding towels and robes, and assisting practitioners with treatment room cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
• Communicating proactively, maintaining a positive attitude, and responding immediately to guest and cast needs.

Basic qualifications and requirements for this position include:

• Willingness and ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (boots, gloves, goggles) and utilize standard hand tools and power cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time and handle approved chemicals and cleaning supplies safely.
• Strong personal accountability for safe behaviors and a proactive approach to addressing safety and operational concerns.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with enthusiasm for interacting and helping guests and cast members.
• Part-time availability to work 3 days a week, including Saturdays, with the requirement to be available up to 40 hours per week during the training period.

Preferred qualifications that may enhance your application include previous experience in hotel housekeeping, office buildings, hospitals, or restaurant cleaning, as well as prior 3rd shift or graveyard experience and knowledge of the Hawaiian or Japanese language.
