As a Customs Specialist at Flexport, you will play a pivotal role in international trade. You will work on the front lines with clients, shippers, and government agencies to clear goods across international borders, utilizing our state-of-the-art technology to automate processes and set new industry standards. This onsite role offers a unique opportunity to build a career in global logistics within a vibrant, supportive environment.

What you’ll do:

• Navigate the complex world of customs regulations to ensure goods comply with international laws.
• Manage essential documents and data needed for smooth customs clearance to CBP.
• Collaborate with international clients and logistics partners, providing timely information and support.
• Use Flexport’s technology to optimize customs processes and provide data to clients.
• Participate in client business reviews and operational calls to gain exposure to high-level strategy.
• Follow and help improve standard operating procedures to enhance team efficiency.

This role is for you if you:

• Recently earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Bring a compliance-first mindset with a commitment to integrity and regulatory adherence.
• Are a natural problem-solver with strong attention to detail.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapt well to new technology, and handle tight deadlines.
• Possess strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage a high volume of tasks.
