Halfords is currently seeking a passionate and customer-focused Cycle Technician to join the team on a part-time basis in Winnington, Northwich. In this exciting role, you will be part of a dynamic environment where your enthusiasm for all things cycling meets hands-on technical work.
As a Cycle Technician, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve delivering market-leading standards of cycle service and repair. You will work on a wide variety of bikes, ranging from kids’ and adult models to premium, performance, and electric cycles. Your main duties will typically include:
- Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance, and complex repairs on all types of bicycles
- Diagnosing technical issues and providing expert recommendations to customers
- Assembling new bikes to the highest safety and quality standards
- Delivering exceptional customer service by sharing your product knowledge and passion
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workshop environment

Whether you are tuning a high-end road bike or getting a child’s first bicycle ready to ride, your dedication to quality will help us wow every customer that walks through the door.
The salary for this position ranges from £23,400 to £27,268 per year pro rata. Hourly pay rates are structured by age, with those aged 21 and over earning £13.11 per hour, and applicants under 21 earning £11.25 per hour.
