As a Diagnostic Imaging Registered Nurse, you will work in collaboration with other members of the healthcare team to protect, promote, and optimize health and ability, prevent illness, and support patient recovery. Your primary responsibilities in this role will include:
- Provide compassionate, high-quality patient care before, during, and after diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs, assess clinical status, and administer medications or contrast agents as ordered by the physician.
- Educate patients and their families regarding imaging procedures to ensure comfort, safety, and understanding.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records and documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure efficient department operations and optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and radiation safety standards.
