Due to consistent growth across our business, we are now seeking an experienced Diesel Motor Mechanic to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis at our Eagle Farm facility in Brisbane.
In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing our specialized range of waste management equipment and vehicles. We are looking for a hands-on professional who takes pride in their workmanship and can ensure all mechanical work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities for this full-time position include:
- Conducting routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and mechanical repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment.
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults efficiently.
- Completing thorough inspections and preparing equipment for safe operation and delivery.
- Maintaining accurate service records and documentation for all completed work.
- Complying with all workplace health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
To be successful in this role, you should possess a relevant trade qualification as a Diesel Motor Mechanic and bring proven experience working on heavy vehicles or similar machinery. A strong commitment to safety, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively both independently and as part of a team are essential.
