We provide services including assistance with daily living, social and community participation, Supported Independent Living, respite accommodation, and community nursing care. We are currently seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team on a full-time basis in Victoria, Australia, offering a competitive salary range of A$78,000 to A$82,000 per year.
In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in empowering our participants and helping them navigate their daily routines with dignity and respect. While day-to-day duties align with standard practices in the disability support sector, your core responsibilities will include:
- Assisting participants with daily living activities, personal care, and domestic tasks as outlined in their individual support plans
- Facilitating social and community participation to encourage skill-building and connection
- Supporting participants within Supported Independent Living (SIL) and respite accommodation settings
- Promoting participant independence, choice, and control in line with NDIS guidelines
- Maintaining accurate records, progress notes, and communicating effectively with team members and management
- Ensuring a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all individuals in our care
