Nextt Group is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate female Disability Support Worker to assist a client located in Thornleigh within the Hornsby area. This is a part-time opportunity offering a salary of A$76,564 per year under the SCHADS Award, with consistent and ongoing shifts scheduled from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
In this rewarding role, you will provide personalized assistance to help our client maintain their independence, enhance their daily life, and remain actively connected to their local community. The position involves a combination of essential personal care and meaningful community access supports.
Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:
- Assisting the client with daily personal care routines with dignity and respect
- Facilitating and accompanying the client during community access activities and outings
- Transporting the client safely to medical appointments, social engagements, and recreational activities
- Promoting client independence and supporting their personal goals
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the care team and management

- Hold a current driver’s license
- Have access to your own reliable vehicle
