In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking electrical installation, maintenance, testing, and repair activities in accordance with relevant industry standards, safety guidelines, and project specifications. You will work effectively as part of a team to ensure that all electrical systems and equipment are maintained and operational.
Key responsibilities and duties for the Electrician position typically include:
- Carrying out routine electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on various systems and equipment.
- Installing new electrical wiring, fixtures, and control equipment safely and efficiently.
- Complying fully with all company health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Completing necessary documentation and compliance checks relating to electrical works undertaken.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support broader operational goals and project timelines.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the essential qualification requirements and be able to provide the necessary documentation upon application:
- Hold a recognized Modern Apprenticeship or provide valid Trade Papers/qualifications in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
- Demonstrate relevant hands-on electrical experience gained within an industrial, manufacturing, or similar engineering environment.
- Possess a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
The salary for this position is £34,938 per year.
