In this dynamic role, the Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers patient-centered care within our fast-paced emergency department setting. You will work closely with physicians, multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and support staff to assess patient conditions, administer treatments, monitor vital signs, and respond swiftly to critical medical situations while maintaining accurate medical records.
Key responsibilities typically include:
- Assessing incoming patients quickly and accurately to determine triage priority and immediate care needs.
- Administering medications, IV fluids, and therapeutic treatments as prescribed by attending physicians.
- Monitoring patient responses to interventions and modifying care plans as clinical conditions change.
- Educating patients and their families regarding diagnoses, discharge instructions, and follow-up care.
- Collaborating effectively with emergency physicians, technicians, and other medical personnel to ensure seamless patient flow and safety.
- Adhering strictly to hospital policies, clinical protocols, and regulatory healthcare standards.
