Outcomes First Group is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our team at Park School, located in Firswood, Manchester. This is a permanent, term-time only position offering a competitive salary of up to £48,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Designed to support a healthy work-life balance, the working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
As an English Teacher with us, you will play a key role in helping students develop their literacy skills, analytical thinking, and love for literature within a supportive and growing educational environment. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering an inclusive classroom culture where every learner is encouraged to reach their full potential.
Key responsibilities for this role typically include:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging English lessons tailored to the needs of students
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of students
- Creating a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment that promotes student well-being
- Collaborating with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support student achievement and pastoral needs
- Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required
