Babcock Australia and New Zealand is currently seeking expressions of interest for a Subcontractor Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis, based in the Rockingham area of Western Australia. This role offers the chance to advance your career while supporting the Australian Defence Force’s vital maritime capability within a high-production maintenance environment.

As a Subcontractor Coordinator, you will play a key part in our operations by coordinating trade contractors working across multiple Navy assets. You will support the delivery of long-term sustainment and asset management services provided to the Royal Australian Navy, working closely with various teams to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.

Key responsibilities typically associated with this role include:

Coordinating and scheduling daily activities for trade contractors across diverse Navy assets.
Monitoring subcontractor performance, compliance, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Facilitating clear communication between Babcock teams, internal stakeholders, and external contractors.
Assisting with operational problem-solving and ensuring maintenance milestones are met efficiently.
Supporting administrative and workflow processes within a busy asset management and maintenance setting.

To be successful in this position, you will bring strong organizational and communication skills, with a background suited to coordinating contractors within a technical, industrial, or defence-related environment. Your ability to manage multiple tasks, build strong working relationships, and adapt to a fast-paced setting will be essential.
