The modern 4*S business hotel voco® Villach, centrally located right on the Drau river and part of the renowned InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), is seeking an experienced Executive Souschef (m/w/d) to join our talented kitchen team.

At our in-house restaurant LAGANA, we delight our guests with a unique culinary concept that blends Mediterranean cuisine with Asian influences. Additionally, our hotel features a direct connection to the Congress Center Villach, making our kitchen operations dynamic, diverse, and fast-paced.
In this key leadership role, your responsibilities will naturally encompass the following areas:
- Assisting the Executive Chef in the daily management and smooth operation of the kitchen
- Preparing and creating exceptional dishes for our restaurant LAGANA, banqueting, and events connected to the Congress Center Villach
- Ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene, and safety are strictly maintained
- Supervising, training, and supporting kitchen staff and apprentices
- Assisting with menu planning, inventory management, ordering, and cost control
What we look for in our ideal candidate:
- Proven professional experience in a similar culinary leadership role within upscale hotel or restaurant kitchens
- A strong background and passion for Mediterranean and Asian-influenced gastronomy
- A cooperative, hands-on leadership style with strong organizational skills
- Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to maintain composure during peak operational times
- Professional proficiency in German and/or English
