As an Interventional Radiologist in this role, you will be responsible for performing a range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, averaging between 7 and 10 procedures per day. The standard schedule for this position runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. You will utilize the Epic Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to document patient care and manage clinical workflows efficiently.
Key responsibilities and required procedures for the role include:
- Performing routine and complex interventional radiology procedures, such as embolizations, TIPS, and Y-90 treatments
- Executing paracentesis and thoracentesis procedures as clinically indicated
- Handling additional requested procedures including drains, ablations, and mediport placement
- Maintaining accurate and timely patient records within the Epic EMR system
To qualify for this position, candidates must hold board certification in interventional radiology.
