CompHealth is currently seeking a skilled physician specializing in Family Practice with obstetrics capabilities for an exciting locum tenens coverage opportunity located in Star Valley, Gila County, AZ. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing essential medical services and comprehensive care to patients in the local community.
The responsibilities for this position include providing 24/7 on-call coverage, as well as handling comprehensive OB coverage that encompasses both vaginal and C-section deliveries. To ensure you are fully prepared for the demands of this assignment, standard industry qualifications and specific life support certifications are required for this role.
Key requirements and duties for this position include:
- Providing dedicated 24/7 on-call coverage as part of the clinical team
- Managing comprehensive OB care, including approximately 60 vaginal deliveries and C-section procedures
- Holding and maintaining current ACLS, ALSO, and NRP certifications
- Delivering high-quality patient care aligned with facility standards
